Communities “who have authoritative and unique knowledge” of the systems and structures that generate complex societal problems have the least access to the social and technical infrastructure necessary influence AI decision making when it matters most: before design and development start.
Make it easy and affordable for communities to produce and own novel contextual datasets and AI training and evaluation environments through community-based participatory systems science.
